Land Conservation

Land Conservation

Saving open space for the health of the environment and the next generations is important and a very generous gift some people are moved to create. Having served on a land trust board for 9 years I have learned the process. When putting land in conservation, it is important to not just create an easement that addresses your goals for the land now, but what will it be like in 30, 50 or 100 years from now. Conservation easements are in perpetuity, a gift forever. I have assisted clients in their consideration of making this part of their legacy and view it as a privilege to be part of that process.
